Creator quickstart

By the end of this you’ll have:

  1. A creator account on the OpenPartner Network
  2. A profile that brands can see
  3. One application submitted to a brand you want to promote

Total time: 5 minutes.

1. Sign up

Go to app.openpartner.dev/creator/signup.

You’ll need:

  • Your name
  • Your email
  • A handle (optional but recommended) — your @ on the Network. This becomes the default slug for your share links and the URL of your public profile at app.openpartner.dev/creators/<handle>. Letters, numbers, hyphens. We check availability as you type.

Click Send me a sign-in link. Check your inbox, click the magic link, you’re in.

2. Fill in your profile

After signing in, head to Settings → Profile. The richer your profile, the better brands can match with you.

Quick wins:

  • Bio — 1–3 sentences. What do you make? Who’s your audience?
  • Avatar URL — a square headshot or logo
  • Categories — tick the niches you create in. Brands filter by these in the discovery directory.
  • Platforms — list every platform you publish on (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Substack, etc.) with your handle and self-reported follower count
  • Audience locations — top countries your audience comes from (ISO codes: US, CA, GB)
  • Sample work — up to 6 URLs to your best posts/videos

A skeletal profile (no platforms, no categories) won’t show up well in brand searches. The full profile guide walks through every field.

3. Browse programs

Network → Discover programs.

You’ll see a grid of cards from brands listed on the Network. Each card has the brand name, commission summary, and a brief description. Search by keyword, filter by category, sort by newest or most-popular.

Click a card to see the full offering: detailed description, terms (commission, cookie window), and the Apply to promote form.

4. Apply

On any offering page, fill in:

  • Preferred share-link slug (optional) — what path do you want for your share URL? Defaults to your handle. If keithf is taken on this brand, we append a suffix.
  • Message to the vendor (optional) — pitch why you’d be a great partner. Brands reading their inbound queue skim these; specific is better than generic.

Click Submit application. Status moves to Pending. The brand reviews → email notification when they decide.

5. Wait for approval

Most brands review within a day or two. You’ll get an email either way.

When approved:

  • The offering page swaps from “Apply to promote” to your share URL with a copy button
  • The partnership shows up under Network → My partnerships
  • Click + revenue stats appear within a day of activity (we aggregate nightly)

When rejected:

  • The offering shows a “Re-apply” form with the brand’s decision note
  • You can submit a different pitch and try again
