Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage do a similar job. This page lists the ones Brightyard, Inc., operating as Coherence ("OpenPartner," "we"), uses on openpartner.dev, in the OpenPartner dashboards, and on partner links, and what a brand's website may store when it uses OpenPartner. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the data involved.
On openpartner.dev
Nothing beyond what's strictly necessary loads until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as declining and don't show the banner.
| Name | Type | What it does | Lasts | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
op_consent_v1 | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
ph_<project key>_posthog | Cookie, plus local and session storage entries starting with ph_ | PostHog analytics: tells visits and visitors apart so we can see which pages get read | 1 year | Analytics, only after you accept |
PostHog stores its data in the United States. If you decline after accepting, we remove the PostHog cookie and storage entries from your browser.
Embedded videos. Marketplace program pages can embed a brand's video from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode), Vimeo or Loom. When the video loads or plays, that provider may set its own cookies or storage under its own policy.
In the OpenPartner dashboards
These apply at app.openpartner.dev and on brands' own partner-portal domains.
| Name | Type | What it does | Lasts | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
op_session | Cookie | Keeps you signed in to a brand or partner dashboard | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
op_platform_session, op_bundle_id | Cookies | Keep you signed in across the brands you have access to | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
op_network_creator_session | Cookie | Keeps a creator signed in to the Network | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
op_platform_admin_session | Cookie | Signs in OpenPartner staff to our operations console | 7 days | Strictly necessary |
op_google_oauth | Cookie | Set only while you sign in with Google: ties the sign-in to the browser that started it, so it can’t be completed from anywhere else | 10 minutes, deleted when you return from Google | Strictly necessary |
op:signup-plan | Session storage | Remembers the plan you picked on the sign-up page while you sign up with Google | Until you close the tab, or your brand is created | Strictly necessary |
op:apiKey | Local storage | Holds an API key if you sign in to the dashboard with one | Until cleared | Strictly necessary |
op-theme, op:nav-collapsed:*, op:*-profile-banner-dismissed | Local and session storage | Remember display choices: theme, collapsed menus, dismissed notices | Until cleared (session storage: until you close the tab) | Preferences |
ph_<project key>_posthog | Cookie, plus local and session storage entries starting with ph_ | PostHog product analytics: how the dashboards are used, so we can improve them | 1 year | Analytics |
Signing in with Google. "Continue with Google" takes you to accounts.google.com, which uses its own cookies under Google's policy. We don't set or read them. Signing in with a password sets no cookies beyond the session cookies above.
On partner links
When you follow a partner's link served by our link router, it sets a
_cref cookie on the link's domain. The cookie holds an ID for that click, so
the brand can credit the partner if you sign up or buy later. It lasts 90 days. We set it
on the brand's behalf, as part of the brand's partner program. The Network's own redirect
for creators' share links doesn't set a cookie.
On brands' websites
A brand that adds the OpenPartner script to its own website can have it store the click
ID in a first-party cookie (op_ref, 90 days) and in local storage
(openpartner:cref, until cleared), so a signup that comes days later is
still credited to the partner. These are the brand's cookies on the brand's site: the
brand decides whether to use them, asks for any consent its visitors must give, and
describes them in its own cookie notice.
Controlling cookies
You can change your choice on openpartner.dev at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your browser's settings let you block or delete cookies and site data everywhere. Blocking strictly necessary cookies in the dashboards will sign you out.
