About

Why OpenPartner exists.

We've watched too many companies get locked into closed attribution platforms — losing their data, paying high margins to providers who frontload features no one asked for, and skimming a cut from the creators driving their growth. OpenPartner is the partner platform we wished existed: open at the core, fair to both sides, and built so your program scales with your business instead of against it.

The story

Built by Coherence.

OpenPartner is built and maintained by the team behind Coherence — a small studio shipping modern SaaS products. Alongside OpenPartner we build Coherence XRM (customer relationship management) and Coherence Studio (AI motion video). We started OpenPartner because every commercial partner platform we evaluated had at least one of the following problems:

  • Attribution stopped at the first click — fine for clicks, useless for SaaS.
  • The data we collected lived in someone else's database with no real path out.
  • Payouts ran through middlemen who charged 5–8% to "front" partner cash, even though Stripe Connect already does this without a markup.
  • Creators had to fight for fair commission terms and timely payouts, while the platform took a cut from both sides.

So we built the alternative — and made it open-source from the start. The hosted version pays the bills; the open-source core keeps us honest. If we ever stop building what our customers actually need, they can run the same product on their own infra without our permission.

What we believe

Four principles. No exceptions.

Open by default

The core attribution and payouts engine is MIT-licensed, on GitHub, and deployable to your own infrastructure. No "community edition" with the good parts removed.

Your data is yours

Every click, conversion, and payout is exportable in CSV, JSON, or SQL. The hosted version is one keystroke away from being self-hosted, with full history intact.

Pay for outcomes

No per-seat licensing. No per-link fees. Hosted plans are a small monthly plus a percentage of revenue your partners actually drive.

Both sides matter

Brands need a fair partner program. Creators need to actually get paid. The platform should align both — not skim from one to subsidize the other.
